Key responsibilities & impact

Build a single-box emulator of the full hardware and software stack for release testing and future customer in-silico validation
Shape testing for hardware-in-the-loop systems, from unit coverage to end-to-end runs against real and simulated instruments
Define verification, traceability, and documentation practices for software changes toward regulated environments
Design and build features for Console, the cloud-based bioprocess management software
Partner with software, hardware, and scientific teams to translate bioprocessing and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions
Mentor other engineers and contribute to strong software development practices across the team
Learn about biotechnology and bioprocess development

What you’ll need

6+ years of professional software engineering experience
Prior experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test, Test Infrastructure Engineer, or in a similar automation-focused role
Experience working on and scaling full-stack applications, including frontend development and backend service design
Product-focused approach and consideration of end-user perspectives
Technical rigor
Preferred: Experience with simulators, emulators, or hardware-in-the-loop test harnesses
Preferred: Experience shipping software in a regulated industry, such as medical devices, pharma, biopharma, or petrochemical
Preferred: Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps background
Preferred: Strong interest in life sciences or biotechnology
