About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the project management team with energy source aspects of a new-build data center project
  • Coordinate, organize, and track project documentation
  • Communicate project status and updates to the project management team
  • Conduct pre-bid and job start meetings under Project Manager supervision
  • Monitor contract compliance and report concerns
  • Facilitate job site meetings and prepare meeting minutes
  • Oversee receipt and documentation of applicable government agency approvals
  • Prepare field reports for Project Manager review
  • Perform QA/QC processes
  • Review change orders for completeness and conformance to company and client standards
  • Review RFIs and submittals before distribution to the design team
  • Provide basic CPM scheduling and budget management
  • Review and maintain As-Built drawings
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management, engineering, or construction management
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of how project documentation impacts project flow
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently
  • Sound judgement and logical decision-making skills
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with team members and clients
  • Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment
  • Ability to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines
  • Attendance during normal business hours
