About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead customers through goal setting and strategy development
- Build business cases and ROI narratives for investment
- Set clients up for successful execution and ongoing monitoring
- Work closely with product and feed client and market realities into future offerings
- Maintain a current, credible view of the climate intervention landscape, including methods, pricing, project developers, and partners
- Advise clients on market trends, high-integrity carbon credit procurement, risk mitigation, and evolving regulations
- Become a trusted advisor to sustainability leaders and executives
- Represent CUR8 at industry events and through thought leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years in climate advisory, carbon markets or sustainability strategy, corporate or consulting side
- Scientific academic background, or equivalent depth built through industry experience
- Deep knowledge of carbon markets, net-zero frameworks, and corporate decarbonization strategies
- Strong understanding of voluntary and compliance carbon market mechanisms, credit quality assessments, and emerging climate finance trends
- Working familiarity with SBTi, VCMI, and CSRD climate claims frameworks
- Experience developing business cases for sustainability investments and carbon credit procurement
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical materials into actionable strategies
- Experience close to product development (desirable)
- Direct experience with carbon removal, avoidance or reduction credits and insetting/value-chain projects (desirable)
- Project development and/or climate investment experience (desirable)
- Experience at a company where the role is not neatly boxed in (desirable)
