About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the accounts payable process end to end and lead bringing it in-house
  • Manage invoice receipt, approvals, payments, and vendor management
  • Own day-to-day finance operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other accounting activities
  • Create, process, and post customer invoices and credit memos in NetSuite
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up with customers to drive collections and maintain healthy DSO
  • Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, controls, documentation, and NetSuite functionality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes
  • Assist with financial reporting and analysis
  • Support audits, tax filings, and compliance by providing documentation and explanations
  • Work closely with Sales, Customer Support, Operations, and external partners globally

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA), Finance, Accounting, or similar
  • Previous experience in a finance, accounting, or controlling role
  • Exposure to several finance areas, including AR, AP, reporting, close, and reconciliations, is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and controls
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus
  • Experience in a startup or fast-growing company is a plus
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Initiative and continuous improvement mindset
  • Adaptability to fast-paced changes and enthusiasm to learn
  • Active AI user and curiosity about new ways to improve finance processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English and Finnish
