About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create and maintain digital products, including Teacher Toolbox and/or Bookshelf products
- Create new and updated Toolbox experiences using digital-only and digital-from-print assets
- Oversee creation of ePub3 files for Bookshelf
- Implement errata corrections to files as needed
- Upload and maintain digital files and metadata in internal Content Management Systems
- Support metadata collection and file structure for content repurposing
- Investigate reported problems with digital products and implement timely fixes
- Serve as a contact and consultant for digital solutions
- Collaborate with Production, QA, Platform, Project Management, supervisors, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Coordinate with Editorial QA and implement corrections during production
- Coordinate with vendors to create and update products
- Attend project and team meetings
- Communicate with supervisors, vendors, internal, and external teams to meet project goals and deadlines
- Ensure projects follow best practices and documentation is maintained
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with Content Management Systems; Magnolia and WoodWing are a plus
- Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, XML, ePub3, and Adobe InDesign
- Successful delivery of final products and project deliverables according to prioritized schedules
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across multiple projects
- Excellent time management and ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff, vendors, and management
- Demonstrated willingness to take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail
