About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build financial models and business cases for new products, market opportunities, partnerships, and growth initiatives
  • Quantify impacts on revenue, margin, and shareholder value
  • Develop scenario and sensitivity models for growth initiatives and go-to-market changes
  • Conduct market research, competitive intelligence, and top-line performance analysis
  • Evaluate market entry, product bundling, and commercial partnership opportunities
  • Analyze deal commercials and non-standard deal structures, including discounting, payment plans, and contract escalations
  • Serve as Finance escalation point for complex contract terms and deal structuring
  • Build data-driven presentations and materials for executive and Board audiences, QBRs, and leadership forums
  • Prepare materials connecting financial results and commercial performance to business decisions
  • Own the pricing model, including list prices, discount schedules, tiers, multi-year discounts, and bundles
  • Lead the annual pricing and packaging review process
  • Chair the Pricing Committee
  • Build and maintain pricing, packaging, and deal analytics and KPI suite
  • Manage and develop a small analytics team
  • Partner cross-functionally as an analytical resource on evolving business priorities
  • Report to the AVP of Finance and partner with senior leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • MBA preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in finance, investment banking, management consulting, or a similar analytical function
  • Demonstrated financial modeling and executive-facing communication skills
  • Strong financial modeling and business case development skills
  • Mastery of Excel
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights
  • Ability to build compelling, data-driven presentations for executive and Board audiences
  • Versatility across financial modeling, GTM/commercial analysis, and pricing
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Working knowledge of pricing and packaging strategy for SaaS, subscription, or multi-year contract businesses
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience in SaaS, subscription, or education technology strongly preferred
  • Exposure to pricing, commercial deal structuring, or GTM strategy is a plus
