About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Become an expert on the company’s online diagnostic and instruction program and Common Core product for grades K–8
Coordinate on-site product training and professional development courses for teachers and school administrators
Adjust professional development workshops to fit participant needs within specified parameters
Deliver professional development on implementing Ready and i-Ready to teachers, coaches, and leaders
Provide tailored on-site support, including lesson planning and pacing support, data analysis, instructional application, and implementation analysis
Participate in internal professional improvement and development, including observation, feedback, and coaching
Track and submit detailed training notes and complete assignments promptly
Present a professional image to customers and prospects
Travel across the assigned territory to deliver professional development and coaching

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree
At least 2+ years of experience in teaching, coaching teachers, and providing professional development
Experience teaching at the secondary (6–12) level preferred
Strong working knowledge of the Common Core State Standards, Grades K–8, or comparable state standards, including content and practice standards
Fluency using digital tools including online assessments
Comfort discussing and applying data with teachers and leaders
Understanding of adult learning principles and their application to professional development
Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills
Exceptional time management, organizational, and prioritization skills with high attention to detail
Excellent computer and internet skills, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of online meeting programs such as Zoom/WebEx is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of an educational cohort
Must live within 30 miles of Phoenix, Arizona or be open to relocating to Phoenix, Arizona
Must have own transportation
Valid driver's license required
Willingness and ability to travel up to 80%, including overnight stays and transportation by car, plane, and/or public transportation
