About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advance core footprint alongside field teams through opportunity advisement and sales presentations
  • Support core adoption and revenue growth through product knowledge and presentation skills
  • Develop and deliver awareness experiences for educators around core literacy offerings
  • Communicate features, advantages, and benefits of core offerings in sales settings
  • Engage with leadership to understand state adoptions and open-territory opportunities
  • Monitor and protect the health of core implementations with regional field teams
  • Advise field teams on implementation challenges, instructional models, and program coherence
  • Seek implementation health status with literacy and mathematics SME counterparts
  • Stay informed about emerging trends, research, legislation, and best practices in education
  • Disseminate clear, concise, and timely updates to stakeholders
  • Maintain and leverage data to report on the health of key core implementations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in education with a focus on curriculum and instruction
  • Demonstrated experience working in ELA and Literacy, preferably through classroom teaching, instructional leadership, school leadership, or district-level leadership
  • Demonstrated effectiveness working cross-functionally, building relationships with remote teams, and working with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of how high-quality curriculum is implemented across languages while supporting both content learning and language development
  • Knowledge of best practices and trends in ELA/Literacy
  • Ability to build credibility with teachers, coaches, principals, and district leaders
  • Ability to thrive in collaborative environments while demonstrating a high degree of self-directed initiative
  • Ability to manage projects through change, including building trust with stakeholders, listening deeply, learning from others’ input and experience, and driving toward best outcomes with respect, compassion, and humility
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to balance short-term tasks with long-term projects and initiatives
  • Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Must currently live in or be willing to relocate to the West Coast region
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Travel: 60%-70%, primarily multi-state travel within the assigned West Coast region, including overnight travel
