About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work alongside schools implementing Stile to enhance student outcomes and engagement
Teach full days of regular science classes while faculty observe, then unpack the observed teaching
Run reviews anchored in the Science Teaching Excellence Framework
Support schools from initial implementation meetings through ongoing adoption
Manage bookings, follow-ups, feedback, and year-round professional learning touchpoints
Design and deliver Demo Lessons, state roadshows, and in-person and virtual professional learning sessions
Build relationships with Heads of Science and school leadership to support retention
Run implementation meetings, agree on an annual framework focus, and prepare teachers before students arrive
Tailor training to school priorities and support Stile Academy and centralised professional learning days
Teach Stilist in Schools days and lead faculty debriefs
Hold data review meetings three times a year with each assigned school and create improvement plans
Bring school feedback to product and content teams
Drive implementation, retention, licence utilisation, and school advocacy across the assigned state

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experienced science teacher with a passion for instructional coaching and professional learning
Real classroom credibility and experience teaching secondary science
Ability to teach regular science classes while faculty observe and then lead debriefs
Ability to coach teachers using the Science Teaching Excellence Framework
Ability to design and deliver professional learning aligned with the Science Teaching Excellence Framework and adult learning theory
Ability to build relationships with Heads of Science, principals, school leaders, and teachers
Comfort using usage reports and framework rubrics to identify next steps
Organised and self-directed, able to manage a diary across a state with many schools and travel
Knowledge of explicit instruction, retrieval practice, and literacy in science
Ability to work in front of principals and independently follow up with schools
Willingness to regularly travel to schools across the assigned state
Resume and one-page cover letter required for application
Secondary science teaching, Head of Science, instructional coaching, or learning specialist experience is relevant; customer success or account management experience is helpful but not required
