About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Become an expert on Curriculum Associates’ online Diagnostic and Instruction program and core and supplemental products, emphasizing Mathematics and ELA
  • Support districts in selecting and implementing products with lasting impact on learning
  • Work with multiple stakeholders across large audiences
  • Support district-wide adoptions of Curriculum Associates’ products
  • Deliver professional learning to teachers, coaches, and leaders on effectively implementing Ready and i-Ready
  • Provide tailored on-site support, including lesson planning and pacing support, data analysis for instruction, and implementation success/challenge identification
  • Collaborate with district and site leaders to develop and revise annual professional learning plans and schedules
  • Provide targeted professional development, ongoing in-classroom support, data analysis, daily project management, and communication with district and site leaders
  • Serve as a thought leader representing Curriculum Associates’ mission-driven approach
  • Attend company-provided educational conferences and participate in team-provided development
  • Travel throughout Louisiana and potentially out of state to support educator-facing work

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in teaching, coaching teachers, or providing professional development learning
  • Fluency using digital tools including online assessments
  • High level of comfort discussing and applying data with teachers and leaders
  • Understanding of principles of adult learning and how to apply them to professional learning
  • Ability to manage, monitor, evaluate, and ensure integrity of program implementations
  • Ability to provide high-quality classroom coaching
  • Willingness to travel within the designated territory and to company meetings several times throughout the year
  • Strong working knowledge of State Standards for Mathematics/ELA, Grades K–8, including content and practice standards
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Based in the state of Louisiana
  • Prefer to reside in Central or Northern Louisiana
  • Willingness to travel up to 80%, including overnight stays and transportation by car, plane, and/or public transportation
  • Out-of-state travel may be required based on business demand
