About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
- Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and external consultants
- Process accruals and deferrals, including receivables, provisions, and prepaid and deferred income/expenses
- Support tax authority audits
- Prepare advance VAT returns
- Reconcile the general ledger with subledgers
- Optimize processes and workflows within the Finance function
- Contribute to process design projects, including the further development of the ERP software
- Contribute to the ongoing development of policies and support their implementation
- Work closely with management and external consultants
Requirements
What you’ll need- Commercial training or a degree in business administration, economics, or a related field
- Relevant professional qualifications, such as Certified Management Accountant (IHK) or Tax Specialist, are welcome but not required
- Relevant professional experience in accounting
- Experience in the areas described above is an advantage
- Experience with an ERP system
- Strong teamwork skills and an independent, structured approach to work
