About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Document designs using 3D solid software (SolidWorks and/or OnShape) and 2D drafting software (AutoCAD)
- Create detailed drawings of 3D models
- Convert 2D drawings to 3D Onshape drawings
- Maintain revision control on drawings and other controlled documents
- Work directly with contractors to resolve drawing errors and provide solutions
- Interact significantly with an Engineering Mentor and the Engineering Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Existing experience as Load King Engineering Intern in good standing with the company
- Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, OnShape, Inventor, AutoCAD, Draftsight, etc. (preferred)
- Experience with MS Office, specifically Excel and Word (preferred)
- Experience using Monday.com (preferred)
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Outlook (preferred)
- Ability to sit and perform computer work
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
