Develop applications and products for CVS Health's Aetna Technology organization
Support, enhance, and create programs and services for clinical and interoperability products
Build next-generation platforms delivering use cases into products that help people live healthier lives
Develop scalable solutions for data engineering pipelines
Work on enterprise-class backend applications and digital health products
Apply AI/ML, GenAI, LLM, NLP, and MLOps methodologies
Fine-tune LLMs/SLMs and work with data-driven content generation
Collaborate within a high-energy, growing technology team

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years in software development
2+ years in AI/ML-focused projects
2+ years of programming experience in Python
Experience with scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
2+ years' experience with Gen AI/LLM/NLP/MLOps or similar methodologies
Backend development experience with enterprise-class applications
Knowledge of NLP and prompt engineering
Experience with CI/CD, Git, and automated testing
Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Ability to set up and optimize RDBMS/NoSQL data stores
Experience fine-tuning LLMs/SLMs
Understanding of rule-based processing and data-driven content generation
Understanding of architecture best practices for scalable data engineering pipelines
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; alternatively, high school diploma plus 4 years of relevant work experience
Preferred: Experience with RAG, automated unit and mock testing, GCP deployment and troubleshooting, Kubernetes, Apigee, GKE, Dataflow, Airflow, MongoDB, SQL, PostgreSQL, SOAP services, IntelliJ, Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana, OAuth 2.0, JWT, Postman, SOAP UI, Scrum/Agile, healthcare domain, computational methods and algorithms, React, front-end development, microservices, LangChain, LangGraph, GenAI frameworks, and cloud AI/ML infrastructure
Preferred: Exposure to MLOps practices and tools
Preferred: Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred: Ability to work independently and as part of a team
