About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive an accurate and efficient Month End Close for assigned responsibilities
Lead Inventory Accounting, including 340B, Legal Entity Accounting, audit support, related party eliminations, and reconciliations between segments
Prepare monthly and quarterly Inventory and 340B reporting and analysis
Coordinate requirements with Treasury and Finance and communicate working capital drivers, opportunities, and risks
Oversee accounting impacts from Legal Entity postings
Review and approve monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and pharmacy-channel results analysis
Perform PBM Network Accounting functions and special projects related to claims posting
Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable PBM Accounting close processes, including working capital
Support and manage internal and external auditor requests for financial statement and internal control audits
Evaluate and propose process improvement and efficiency opportunities
Assist with special projects
Perform accruals, analysis, forecasting, and collaboration
Support the Senior Manager and Director with ad-hoc projects
Cross-train with and act as backup to the Senior Manager and Manager of PBM Accounting

Requirements

What you’ll need

5 years of experience in a Public/Corporate Accounting function
340B experience preferred
People leader experience preferred
Strong Excel skills with a proven capacity to organize, manipulate and interpret data
SAP experience a plus
CPA preferred
Bachelor’s degree required OR equal relevant work experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Ability to work cross functionally in a large organization
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
