About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and develop a team of healthcare management professionals
Provide clinical guidance, coaching, and performance oversight
Implement utilization management policies and best practices
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve member outcomes
Support recruiting, training, and employee development
Drive operational, quality, and financial performance goals
Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor
Work within a 24/7 Utilization Management operation
Participate in holiday rotation based on business needs
Travel occasionally, less than 5%, for audits and meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active, unrestricted RN license in your state of residence
3+ years of adult acute care nursing experience
1+ year of Utilization Management experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
Associate degree required
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
BSN preferred
Candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone preferred
Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as Utilization Management is a 24/7 operation
Participation in a holiday rotation, up to two holidays annually, based on business needs
Occasional travel, less than 5%, for audits and meetings
