About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and strategize test scenarios
- Design and develop complex automated solutions, frameworks, and scripts
- Implement and maintain automation tools and technologies
- Identify automation opportunities in software development, infrastructure, and operations workflows
- Collaborate with software developers, quality assurance, operations, and other stakeholders
- Conduct routine tests and validate automated workflows and scripts across environments and scenarios
- Debug automation issues and implement preventive measures
- Analyze automated processes and test results to optimize performance, efficiency, and reliability
- Train and support team members in automation tools and frameworks
- Define and document automation requirements, specifications, and test plans
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years work experience setting up automated testing
- Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills
- ISA Certified Automation Professional (CAP) preferred
- Certified Software Tester (CSTE) preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, specialized training, or relevant professional qualification
