About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and drive Platform strategy and delivery with Architecture, Technical Product Owners, and AppDev teams
Build and scale internal platforms, golden paths, and self-service tools to improve developer experience
Scale CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, GitOps workflows, and DevSecOps practices
Embed security and observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana into delivery pipelines
Design scalable, cost-effective technical solutions, patterns, and enterprise integrations
Lead and mentor cross-functional Engineering, DevOps, and site reliability teams
Manage cloud spend budgets, vendor negotiations, and resource forecasting
Track engineering productivity and reliability metrics, including DORA metrics, deployment frequency, change failure rate, and mean time to recovery
Manage cloud costs and compliance
Evaluate, build, and integrate AI/ML tools, cloud-native services, and automation frameworks into the Platform and software delivery lifecycle

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years working as a Technology & Engineering Leader leading the full cycle of large software engineering programs, managing stakeholders, risk mitigation, issue resolution, developing KPIs and status reporting to Senior Leaders
8+ years leading teams in a matrix organization
4+ years partnering with architecture, product and PMO teams to influence product development assisting or improving products
4+ years leading discovery sessions, workshops, demos, onboarding sessions, and enablement activities
2+ years in a leadership role, coordinating across software cross-functional teams
2+ years of experience influencing stakeholders, managing vendor/budget relationships, and translating complex technical strategies for business units
2+ years demonstrating very strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare proposals, summaries, roadmaps, and executive-ready recommendations
2+ years of experience mentoring resources and supporting knowledge transfer across teams
2+ years of experience working under limited direction and leading complex initiatives across multiple teams and priorities
Experience with distributed teams, multiple time zones and geographies
Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
Performance / People management experience
Experience leading large programs with responsibility for end-to-end planning
Strong facilitation and presentation skills
Experience working with technology vendors
Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification
