Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee end-to-end delivery of solutions for Pharmacy Segment and Pharmacy and Consumer Wellness lines of business
Oversee engineering teams operating on legacy middleware technologies and GCP, AWS and Azure cloud platforms
Lead teams of engineering managers, architects, engineers, product leads, and quality engineers
Drive API modernization, platform migration, AI integration, and automation initiatives
Identify quality risks, communicate insights and metrics, and enhance customer experience
Oversee annual budgeting, capital processes, and quality improvement activities
Provide strategic and tactical engineering and architecture leadership
Develop delivery and resource plans, create roadmaps, and drive operational excellence
Optimize operating costs and budgets by reducing technical debt and improving risk visibility through executive-level reporting
Lead testing and automation strategies across IT and business operations using AI platforms
Own quality assurance processes across AI model validation and automation
Guide project and program planning and establish technical and functional standards
Oversee processes, procedures, career development, and skills mapping
Define OKRs, ROI, and KPIs; deliver metrics-based reports and recommendations
Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
Provide formal and informal feedback addressing performance gaps
Participate in recruitment and selection for CVS and vendor candidates
Lead on-site and offshore vendor relationships
Ensure adherence to integrity standards and the Code of Conduct
Drive skills transformation through cloud, automation, and AI upskilling plans

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of information technology leadership experience across various platforms
10+ years of experience translating complex testing and automation strategies into measurable business outcomes
5+ years of experience leveraging AI technologies and development, testing, and automation techniques in a high-performance Agile environment
5+ years of experience in cloud-native environments, including Azure, GCP and AWS
4+ years of hands-on development experience across multiple technology platforms
Executive-level communication skills
Background in healthcare and Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM)
Experience with Kafka, APIM, and Kong platforms
Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their practical application in software modernization, code generation, or refactoring initiatives
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
High school diploma plus 4 years relevant work experience as an alternative educational pathway
