Lead Director – Divestiture Management

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage the Divestiture Management Office and supporting team members
- Oversee execution of Transition Services Agreement commitments and contractual obligations
- Build and maintain relationships with buyers, vendors, impacted employees, and CVS stakeholders
- Review and interpret legal agreements, contracts, and transaction documents
- Identify risks, issues, and improvement opportunities, and drive resolution through collaboration and negotiation
- Provide updates, recommendations, and reporting to senior leadership
- Manage project budgets and ensure financial goals are met
- Track program performance through metrics, reporting, and governance processes
- Lead project planning, execution, and continuous improvement efforts
- Gather and analyze stakeholder feedback to proactively address concerns and disputes
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings, workshops, and problem-solving sessions
- Coach, develop, and support team members, matrix partners, and external vendors
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience in healthcare, financial services, fintech, or a related industry
- Experience leading teams and managing people across multiple projects
- Proven ability to manage large, complex programs and budgets
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance competing priorities and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
- Experience influencing senior leaders and driving results across cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, or TSA management
- Consulting experience related to M&A integration or separation activities
- Strong project and program management background
- Demonstrated success leading organizational change and delivering measurable business outcomes
- Experience managing large-scale budgets and strategic initiatives
