About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support new growth initiatives and enable execution of key strategic priorities
Partner with business stakeholders across the CVS Health enterprise
Lead complex, high-priority Enterprise Strategy engagements as an individual leader or project team lead
Structure engagements end-to-end, including roles, decision points, analytical priorities, and knowledge gaps
Drive execution and delivery of executive-level outputs
Evaluate market dynamics, competitive developments, and strategic opportunities
Develop actionable, stakeholder-sensitive recommendations
Build and lead relationships with business partners and executive sponsors
Navigate organizational roadblocks
Collaborate with executive leadership to manage strategic portfolios and craft communications for senior leaders
Steer executive meetings and drive decisions
Support building and leading a high-performing strategy team
Foster strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and innovation
Develop Managers and Senior Managers as future project leaders
Report to the Executive Director of Central Enterprise Strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need

Significant subject matter expertise in healthcare and strategy
Strong technology background preferred
10 years of related experience at a top management consulting firm, in-house strategy team at a large health care company, or related growth / strategy focus in a health care setting
Proven track record of managing strategy-related projects and leading cross-functional teams, including external advisors, on strategy deep dive projects
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience delivering structured presentations
Experience crafting PowerPoint and Excel analysis
Ability to lead a high-performing small team providing consistent error-free analysis and recommendations to senior leaders
Bachelor’s Degree required
Master’s Degree preferred
Ability to travel 10-20% for in-person meetings with senior leaders and strategy teams
