About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide local market product leadership for the West Region
Own portfolio benefit strategy, design, and execution
Develop and manage differentiated and tailored portfolio solutions aligned to market opportunities and customer needs
Define portfolio strategy using market intelligence, buyer needs, competitive insights, and performance data
Drive end-to-end portfolio performance by monitoring key metrics and adjusting strategies
Translate strategy into execution by defining priorities, creating timelines, and project managing deliverables
Manage risks and dependencies
Drive alignment across a matrixed organization with Product, Sales, Underwriting, Actuarial, Network, and other stakeholders
Lead change management and continuous improvement across segments and markets related to application and process changes

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience in product management, portfolio management or healthcare benefits within the healthcare industry
Medical Benefits Product experience / knowledge
Must reside in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zone; Central Time Zone may be considered for a stellar candidate
Demonstrated success developing and executing portfolio strategies that drive growth, retention, customer value, and business performance
Demonstrated success influencing up and across a highly matrixed organization
Executive-level presentation and storytelling skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
