Key responsibilities & impact

Develop complex employee-relations policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding workplace issues, conflicts, and concerns
Conduct investigations, gather relevant information, and recommend appropriate actions
Support managers with performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, and termination processes
Develop and implement employee communication strategies
Implement employee engagement and satisfaction initiatives, including recognition programs and surveys
Connect employees facing personal or professional challenges with resources such as EAP, counseling services, and wellness programs
Coach more junior colleagues
Oversee ongoing training and role compliance
Maintain employee-relations records
Develop grievance procedures and conduct exit interviews
Coordinate employee-relations programs to ensure policy and practice compliance

What you’ll need

5+ years in Colleague/Employee Relations, Investigations, Human Resources, or a combination of relevant experience
Adept at problem solving and decision making skills
Adept at collaboration and teamwork
Bachelor's degree preferred; specialized training/relevant professional qualification or equal years of working experience may be considered
SHRM Certified Professional preferred
Ability to work 40 hours per week
