About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver analytics and insights to support Clinical operations
- Analyze, design, and implement data solutions using Google Cloud Platform
- Act as an internal analytics specialist using SSIS, SSRS, Teradata, Alteryx, GCP, Python, Tableau, Dataiku, and other analytical tools
- Support data automation reporting from multiple data source connections
- Focus on GCP migration strategy
- Automate current manual data processes
- Support data staging necessary for Tableau dashboards
- Develop dashboards supporting prior authorization business insights and exception requests
- Work with operations business partners to understand needs
- Develop business logic metrics for representation in Tableau KPIs
- Report to the Senior Manager of Analytical Insights
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
- 5+ years of experience with database-related technologies such as PL/SQL, T-SQL, SQLS, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning
- 5+ years of experience building and evaluating predictive models or machine learning workflows using Python libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels, or NumPy
- 5+ years of experience with machine learning model deployment, monitoring, or MLOps pipelines
- 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including SQL Server on GCP
- 5+ years of hands-on experience creating SQL queries, packages, functions, and views for ad-hoc and recurring reports
- 5+ years of experience with ETL and reporting tools such as SSIS, SSRS, Alteryx, and Python
- 5+ years of experience with multiple RDBMS platforms (Oracle, Teradata) and complex SQL report development
- 5+ years of experience with Python for data processing and automation
- Understanding of database design principles and logical and physical data models
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and documentation best practices
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Agile mindset focused on incremental value and rapid feedback
- Ability to learn new domains and data sources rapidly
- Ability to enforce best practices
- Strong presentation skills and experience engaging with business stakeholders
