About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead operational and financial performance evaluation across Aetna's Utilization Management programs
Own business cases and value assessments for utilization management programs
Build task-based staffing models and connect them with budgeting and forecasting for Aetna Clinical Solutions
Lead executive performance reporting with holistic insights into program performance and ROI
Establish program optimization frameworks to improve effectiveness and drive additional value
Develop or collaborate on analytical tools and dashboards for outcome and savings insights
Serve as the primary point of contact for performance management of Utilization Management programs
Drive knowledge sharing and collaboration on performance management processes across functional areas

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of analytical/Excel modeling related work experience
5+ years of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Bachelor's degree required or equivalent years of related experience
Advanced Excel skills developing custom analyses, models, and calculations for ad hoc business needs
Ability to synthesize data, apply assumptions and drivers, and build solutions from the ground up
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong technical, analytical, financial, data manipulation, and visualization skills
Ability to work in an evolving environment with competing priorities and deadlines
Strategic and creative problem-solving skills for poorly defined problems
Thoughtful leadership and collaboration with internal and external constituents
Preferred programming experience with SAS, SQL, or Tableau
