About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Consolidate Aetna Business Operations financials
Create management presentations and talking points for month close, forecast, budget and multi-year strategic plan
Drive standardization across the organization in how work is performed
Coordinate planning and analysis for projects of varying nature and complexity
Collaborate with Aetna Business Operations finance teams to understand key drivers and ensure accurate financial presentations and analysis
Support capital planning and expense management strategies
Support special projects and perform ad-hoc analyses
Leverage communication and technology skills
Continuously improve processes and leverage technology
Solve problems creatively in a fast-evolving environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

5-7 years of relevant financial experience
Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with financial systems
Proficiency with Anaplan, Hyperion and S4 Hana
Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or related field, and/or equivalent professional work experience
Healthcare, managed care or financial services experience preferred
Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred
Ability to communicate effectively and consolidate/report results to business partners and management
Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple activities and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently within a management-defined guidance framework
Ability to adapt to change
