About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assess department requirements and identify integration opportunities for new technologies and system processes
Assist the team in managing data, reporting, and analytics functions to help internal teams draw meaningful conclusions
Coach the team on applying statistical and computational methods to analyze research data
Conduct literature reviews on data management, information systems, machine learning, and artificial intelligence
Confer with industry partners on applying research findings to real-world settings
Design documentation systems outlining system specifications, architectural diagrams, and user guides
Define data models, data integration processes, and data governance policies
Develop complex data migration systems and coordinate with data management teams to ensure accurate information transfer
Establish testing systems to ensure department requirements and functions are met

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years relevant work or equivalent experience
Adept at SQL and/or Python
Adept at Business Intelligence reporting (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
Adept at problem solving and decision-making skills
Adept at collaboration and teamwork
Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
Ability to translate non-analytical customer needs into analysis and reporting and communicate data insights
Experience working within Healthcare Quality Management
Experience with NCQA HEDIS and other quality metrics
Outcomes research experience
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or related STEM field
