About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to SSRS reports, Power BI dashboards, SSIS packages, scheduled jobs, and related data processes
Deploy SSRS reports and Power BI reports according to team standards and established deployment practices
Use automated processes to deploy stored procedures to team databases
Develop, maintain, and support SSIS packages for extracting production data, preparing SFTP files, and loading vendor data into team databases
Support scheduled jobs and enterprise scheduling processes, including issue identification and resolution
Update and maintain team-developed applications
Partner with technical and business teams to gather requirements, resolve issues, and support solution delivery
Support reporting, database, and application reliability
Contribute to documentation, standards, and process consistency

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience in application support, database support, informatics, or a related technical role
Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Hands-on experience with SSIS package development, support, and troubleshooting
Experience supporting and deploying SSRS reports and Power BI dashboards
Experience using Visual Studio
Experience with GitHub or similar source control tools
Experience with enterprise scheduling tools, scheduled jobs, and job failure troubleshooting
Programming experience with VB.NET and C#
Experience developing or supporting automated deployment processes for database objects such as stored procedures
Experience extracting, transforming, and loading data between production systems, vendor files, and internal databases
Experience supporting secure file transfer processes such as SFTP
Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively across technical and business teams
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
