About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support implementation of Medicare supplemental benefit initiatives and product enhancements
  • Coordinate implementation activities and monitor project milestones
  • Partner with business, operations, technology, compliance, and vendor teams to gather requirements and support implementation planning
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and operational impacts associated with changes
  • Support operational readiness, testing coordination, and implementation validation
  • Research, document, and resolve operational issues related to benefit administration and program execution
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance operational procedures, workflows, and process controls
  • Identify process gaps and recommend efficiency, accuracy, and member-experience improvements
  • Support quality reviews, benefit audits, bid activities, and other operational initiatives
  • Analyze operational data and reporting to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities
  • Assist with process improvements and operational best practices
  • Maintain documentation for compliance reviews, audits, and business requirements
  • Ensure benefit administration complies with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Build partnerships across business, operational, and vendor teams
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and implementation and operational initiatives
  • Provide operational support, share knowledge, and foster collaboration

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be able to work a hybrid schedule, including work from home and in-office
  • 2-3 years of experience supporting project implementations, business requirements development, reporting, and operational process documentation
  • Experience within Medicare Advantage, supplemental benefits, or a related healthcare environment
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and work independently when needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Preferred: experience supporting SSBCI, Uniform Flexibility, or other Medicare supplemental benefit programs
  • Preferred: working knowledge of Medicare regulations, CMS guidance, and benefit administration processes
  • Preferred: experience supporting vendor management and external partner relationships
