About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain systems and tools to track, monitor, review, and submit regulatory and compliance deliverables to state Medicaid agencies
Prepare basic regulatory reports for the Medicaid compliance team
Research and recommend compliant business operations, processes, and policies according to state-specific Medicaid requirements
Develop compliance communications responding to state Medicaid agency inquiries and requests
Maintain working knowledge of contractual, regulatory, and program policy obligations
Serve as a resource to health plan and growth partner staff for education and business decision-making
Support external audit reviews, including project management, deliverable tracking, responses, and corrective action plans through closure
Maintain contract libraries, regulatory reporting assignments, risk assessments, risk tracking lists, internal reporting systems, and department tools
Use Microsoft products, Archer, and other job-specific systems; maintain documentation, train users, and contribute to system design, oversight, or maintenance
Support compliance oversight and monitoring across the business
Support mitigation and corrective action plans and escalate risks and issues through appropriate channels
Maintain positive relationships with internal and external constituents
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of regulatory compliance experience in managed care, healthcare, or insurance; or a Master's degree
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience with Medicaid or Medicaid managed care (preferred)
Project Management experience (preferred)
Audit experience (preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft products and compliance-specific tools such as Archer
Ability to work with contractual, regulatory, and program policy obligations of Medicaid managed care organizations
