About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide mental health support to patients aged 13 and older
Provide psychosocial support and education to individuals, couples, and families
Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans
Deliver short-term counseling using evidence-based methodologies
Collaborate on patient care and support continuity of care
Use assessment and treatment planning tools
Practice autonomously with support from the clinical care team
Build and grow the Minute Clinic practice
Deliver therapy virtually and engage patients through multiple platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need

40 hour/week availability
Current, active, and unencumbered state license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Pennsylvania, Maryland, or Washington, D.C.
Willingness to obtain additional state licenses based on business needs
Proven excellent diagnostic, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling skills
Use of evidence-based methodologies, including motivational interviewing, problem solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy
Completed Master’s degree program from an accredited college or university
State license with one or more of the following credentials: LCSW, LPC, or LMFT
Experience with or willingness to learn and adapt to virtual therapy delivery
Tech-savvy and comfortable using electronic health record systems and engaging on multiple platforms
Understanding of insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare billing requirements
Strong crisis intervention skills
Previous experience in a mental health clinic or hospital setting
