About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide psychosocial support and education for individuals, couples, and families ages 13 and older
Build and grow the Minute Clinic mental health practice
Practice at the top of license with support from the clinical care team
Deliver evidence-based mental health care
Perform assessment and treatment planning
Provide short-term counseling using methodologies including motivational interviewing, problem solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy
Collaborate on patient care and support continuity of care
Reach patients within their communities through virtual therapy delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need

Current, active, and unencumbered State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington state and/or California
Willingness and ability to obtain additional state licenses and licenses to practice in multiple states based on business needs
Proven excellent diagnostic, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling skills
Experience leveraging evidence-based methodologies, including motivational interviewing, problem solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy
Completed Master’s degree program from an accredited college or university
Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and team skills
Experience with or willingness to learn and adapt to virtual therapy delivery
Deep understanding of the psychosocial aspects of illness and health
Tech-savvy and comfortable using electronic health record systems and multiple platforms
Understanding of insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare billing requirements
Strong crisis intervention skills
Previous experience in a mental health clinic or hospital setting
