Key responsibilities & impact

Provide psychosocial support and education for individuals, couples, and families ages 13+
Practice evidence-based mental health therapy
Perform diagnosis, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling
Use assessment and treatment planning tools to support continuity of patient care
Build and grow the MinuteClinic mental health practice
Reach and support patients within their communities
Collaborate with the clinical care team
Deliver therapy virtually and across multiple platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need

Current, active, and unencumbered California state license as an LCSW, LPCC, LMHC, or LMFT
Proven excellent diagnostic, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling skills
Evidence-based methodologies including motivational interviewing, problem solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy
Completed Master’s degree program from an accredited college or university
Must be licensed in California as an LCSW, LPCC, LMHC, or LMFT
If hired, must be willing and able to obtain additional state licensure
Preferred: experience with or willingness to learn and adapt to virtual therapy delivery
Preferred: understanding of psychosocial aspects of illness and health
Preferred: comfort using electronic health record systems and multiple platforms
Preferred: understanding of insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare billing requirements
Preferred: crisis intervention skills
Preferred: previous experience in a mental health clinic or hospital setting
