Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure accurate entry of orders
Maintain security of the pharmacy
Adhere to required delivery schedules
Verify orders entered by technician staff for accuracy
Check completeness and precision of new and refill labels and orders
Check content and accuracy of drug packaging and labeling
Prepare and/or supervise sterile IV drug products or solutions, if required
Assist in maintaining perpetual inventory for Schedule II drugs
Provide routine and emergency drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services
Follow applicable state and government regulations, including HIPAA
Support pharmacy management goals and objectives within the dispensing pharmacy
Perform other duties as assigned
Lead and foster a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and service
Prioritize workflow and provide excellent customer service

What you’ll need

Must be a licensed pharmacist in the state of Minnesota, must be active & in good standing
Bachelors of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy
Long Term Care pharmacy experience preferred
Preparation and/or supervision of sterile IV drug products or solutions preferred
Knowledge of DEA and state law regarding controlled drug dispensing
Ability to provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage during scheduled rotation
Ability to work variable shifts covering 6am to 2am Monday-Friday with weekend/holiday rotation
Weekend rotation is every third
No on-call requirement
