About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver compassionate care to patients and customers

Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Licensure requirements vary by state
- Complete the CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program as a new Pharmacy Technician
- Satisfy all registration, licensing and certification requirements according to the State’s Board of Pharmacy guidelines
- Attention and focus to concentrate on tasks without distraction
- Customer service orientation
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Active listening skills
- Mathematical reasoning, including calculating a prescription’s day supply
- Problem resolution and judgment in complex situations
- Ability to remain upright and move about on foot for sustained periods
- Ability to use fingers for picking, pinching and typing
- Ability to extend hands and arms, bend, stoop and use lower extremities and back muscles
- Ability to communicate spoken instructions accurately and receive detailed oral information
- Close visual acuity for transcribing, viewing computer terminals and inspecting small parts
- Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs and exerting up to 30 lbs of force
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting preferred
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
- PTCB National Certification preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- COVID-19 vaccination may be required based on role and location, subject to applicable accommodations
