Work in a leading retail pharmacy company while positively impacting patients’ and customers’ lives and health
Maintain high professional and ethical standards and comply with Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations
Help ensure patients’ medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met
Demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain patient confidentiality
Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks
Support the team in promptly, safely, and accurately filling patient prescriptions
Provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations
Complete CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program as a new Pharmacy Technician
Build clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge through available tools and training
Comply with applicable collective bargaining agreement rules in select markets

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be at least 18 years of age
Licensure requirements vary by state
Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted
Customer service orientation
Verbal and written communication skills
Active listening skills
Mathematical reasoning, including calculating a prescription’s day supply
Problem-resolution skills
Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
Ability to move about on foot between work areas
Manual dexterity for picking, pinching, typing, and related tasks
Ability to extend hands and arms in any direction
Ability to bend, stoop, and use lower extremities and back muscles
Ability to accurately convey and receive detailed spoken instructions
Close visual acuity for transcribing, viewing computer terminals, and inspecting small parts
Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs and exert up to 30 lbs of force occasionally or up to 10 lbs frequently
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting preferred
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
PTCB National Certification preferred
