About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive innovative, enterprise-wide solution designs at the business unit level for complex strategic initiatives
- Serve as a hands-on leader and primary problem-solving contact
- Spearhead proofs-of-concept and technology advancements
- Build and nurture a technology incubation function
- Partner with business, engineering, data science, product management, and IT stakeholders to develop and launch solutions
- Champion cloud enablement strategies, DevSecOps practices, and cross-functional collaboration
- Lead design of scalable enterprise-level systems using microservices, micro frontends, and portable application frameworks
- Lead engineering teams while maintaining hands-on involvement in coding and problem-solving
- Architect and deploy applications across multiple cloud platforms
- Integrate and scale AI/ML models to enhance products with data-driven features
- Establish CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and security measures
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Partner with business, technology, and product leaders on innovation initiatives
- Mentor and inspire engineering teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ progressive years of experience in designing and implementing scalable software architectures, including microservices-based solutions and enterprise-scale platforms
- Proven hands-on development expertise using Java, Python and Angular
- Experience with Enterprise RAG patterns, vector databases, embeddings, prompt engineering, AI orchestration, and AI application integration
- Deep understanding of domain-driven architecture
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud platforms and cloud-agnostic solutions, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
- Advanced proficiency with UI frameworks, micro frontends, web components, and portable application architecture
- Proficiency in AI/ML and hands-on experience building, integrating, and scaling machine learning models and intelligent systems
- Solid expertise in solution engineering and end-to-end system design
- Proficiency in DevSecOps practices, automated testing, CI/CD, and proactive vulnerability management
- Demonstrated experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Proven track record leading and mentoring engineering teams, driving technical strategy, and fostering innovation
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Health Care Industry domain knowledge preferred
- Experience in enterprise development tools and SDLC methodologies preferred
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
