About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review guarantee performance by client monthly
  • Prepare financial performance reporting
  • Provide reporting and information for audit requests
  • Partner with Underwriting, Networks, Sales/Account Management, Audit, and Legal to review contract terms and recommend pricing strategy
  • Perform monthly data pulls for assigned guarantee clients
  • Review performance results, drug mix, and utilization to identify opportunities to mitigate financial risk
  • Collaborate with underwriting, finance, and accounting partners to improve process gaps and overlaps
  • Perform lookback analysis comparing underwriting assumptions, contract language, and actual results
  • Develop reporting packages and presentations for management
  • Create best practices and draw conclusions to inform critical business decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience creating financial models and working with large data sets in a database environment
  • 3+ years of experience managing multiple projects and delivering results timely
  • 2+ years of SQL/Google Cloud BigQuery experience
  • Must be proficient in Excel
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of health insurance, managed care, or pharmaceutical industry preferred
  • 2+ years of PBM experience, preferably in drug pricing and analytics
