About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain item-related master data in SAP, SPOMS, SPARCS, and SPRx supporting Mail and Specialty pharmacy operations
  • Collaborate with Brand/Generic Contracting, Pharmacy Operations, and Pharmacy Procurement to validate and execute master data add/change requests
  • Execute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to ensure purchase price accuracy, validate strategic system data, and support data cleansing routines
  • Support capital projects and system enhancements through data setup, test scenario documentation and execution, and data migration/implementation
  • Perform basic ad hoc data analyses
  • Mentor Analysts and Associates
  • Serve as the first point of contact regarding data validation rules and procedural questions
  • Create and maintain work instruction and process flow documentation
  • Facilitate documentation-related discussions as department documentation steward

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including functions to write formulas and write macros
  • Detail oriented and task driven
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • College degree or demonstrated work experience in line with requisite job responsibilities
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of SAP preferred
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint preferred
  • Working knowledge of data querying tools such as MS Access preferred
  • Working knowledge of VBA preferred
  • Basic understanding of the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) business and pricing models preferred
