About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the administration, maintenance, enhancement, and optimization of the BlackLine platform
Serve as a key resource supporting BlackLine across multiple modules, primarily Journal Entries and future financial automation capabilities
Partner with Accounting, Finance, IT, Accenture administrative resources, offshore service teams, implementation partners, and transformation teams
Maintain a stable, scalable, and well-governed financial systems platform
Coordinate priorities and deliverables across internal stakeholders, implementation partners, third-party providers, and offshore resources
Support financial systems configuration, testing, implementation, and production operations
Identify root causes and develop scalable solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

3 years of relevant experience supporting BlackLine or a comparable financial close, journal entry, workflow, or automation platform
Hands-on experience with financial systems administration, configuration, testing, implementation, or production support
Understanding of accounting processes, journal entries, financial controls, and close management activities
Ability to coordinate priorities and deliverables across internal stakeholders, implementation partners, third-party providers, and offshore resources
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a large, complex enterprise environment
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience
BlackLine administration experience and relevant BlackLine certification preferred
Experience supporting BlackLine Journal Entries and one or more additional BlackLine modules preferred
Experience with SAP, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, Workday, or another major ERP platform preferred
Knowledge of financial system integrations, middleware, data interfaces, and enterprise security concepts preferred
Familiarity with banking, treasury, cash accounting, or financial operations processes preferred
Experience supporting finance transformation, shared services, or center-of-excellence environments preferred
Experience with Agile delivery, project implementation, testing, and change management practices preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills preferred
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills preferred
