About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver high-quality modern data solutions
Collaborate with engineering, analyst, data scientist, and product teams in a fast-paced agile environment
Design, integrate, and implement on-premise data solutions
Support migration of existing workloads to the cloud
Design and develop data solutions using modern programming languages
Process Claims, Revenue, Medicare-specific files, and data from 30+ payors into the data warehouse
Identify and implement process improvements and best practices
Troubleshoot data issues and improve performance

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience working with SQL and relational database management systems
3+ years of experience in cloud technologies
3+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server
3+ years of experience in Databricks
Familiarity with Azure
Programming and modifying code in SQL, Python, and PySpark
Hands-on experience with dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing
Hands-on experience troubleshooting data issues
Hands-on experience with performance improvement techniques
Willingness to identify and implement process improvements and best practices
Ability to take ownership and work in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-based support environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree preferred, specialized training, or relevant professional qualification; Computer Science or equivalent years of relevant experience
Familiarity with healthcare data and healthcare insurance feeds is a plus
