About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver high-quality modern data solutions
Collaborate with engineering, analysts, data scientists, and product teams in an agile environment
Design, integrate, and implement on-premises data solutions
Support migration of existing workloads to the cloud
Design and develop data solutions using modern programming languages
Process claims, revenue, Medicare-specific files, and data from more than 30 payors into the data warehouse
Identify and implement process improvements and best practices
Troubleshoot data issues and apply performance improvement techniques

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience working with SQL and relational database management systems
3+ years of experience in cloud technologies
3+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server
3+ years of experience in Databricks
Familiarity with Azure
Programming and modifying code using SQL, Python, and PySpark
Hands-on experience with dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing
Hands-on experience troubleshooting data issues
Hands-on experience with performance improvement techniques
Willingness to identify and implement process improvements and best practices
Ability to take ownership and work in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-based support environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Familiarity with healthcare data and healthcare insurance feeds is a plus
Bachelor's degree, specialized training, or relevant professional qualification preferred; Computer Science or equivalent years of relevant experience
