About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead forecasting activities for an assigned region and contribute to broader national forecasting efforts
Drive improvements in forecast accuracy, analytical capabilities, and process/tool efficiency
Support the Large Group rate review process and connect forecasting insights with pricing considerations
Partner with Finance, Insured Actuarial, and Underwriting teams to understand business needs and prioritize analytical work
Lead analyses and projects connecting underwriting data and insights with forecast projections
Evaluate emerging risks and opportunities
Manage projects from planning through implementation
Provide actuarial support to assigned markets, including performance evaluation and pricing initiatives
Communicate observations and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
Contribute to written materials, presentations, and stakeholder discussions
Foster collaboration, share knowledge, and support team capability development
Provide day-to-day leadership and development support to actuarial students and other team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree along with 5+ years of actuarial experience
ASA or FSA
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
Strong ability to improve processes and enhance efficiency
Ability to effectively balance and manage competing priorities
