About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the launch and ongoing operations of Pharmacy1st's clinic network
  • Own clinic licensing, operating documentation, site readiness, and day-to-day clinic operations support across a growing, multi-site network
  • Partner with the Senior Director, Clinic Operations on launch strategy and timelines
  • Oversee provider credentialing and enrollment across the network, escalating delays
  • Build and maintain launch checklists and readiness documentation covering staffing, licensing, EHR setup, and operating procedures
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure launch milestones are met and report launch risks to leadership
  • Lead resolution of operational issues across clinic sites
  • Track clinic performance metrics network-wide and drive accountability for open action items
  • Troubleshoot issues escalated from clinic sites, traveling on-site as needed
  • Deliver in-person training on clinical procedures and urgent care skills at Matilda clinic sites
  • Lead ongoing training programs to standardize the standard of care across clinics
  • Identify skill gaps, maintain current training based on urgent care best practices, and track staff competency
  • Own standard operating procedures and launch playbooks
  • Document and standardize workflows including provider onboarding, scheduling, and pharmacy-clinic handoffs
  • Coordinate between clinic operations, clinical leadership, HR, legal, compliance, and external vendors
  • Ensure clear information flow between Corporate HQ and clinic sites
  • Lead special projects for the Senior Director, Clinic Operations and lay groundwork for a future Clinic Operations team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, clinic administration, or a related role, including experience across multiple sites
  • Active clinical licensure (NP) with urgent care or emergency room experience
  • Proven track record leading cross-functional projects independently
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfort designing and delivering hands-on, in-person clinical training to clinic staff
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Based in or willing to travel to the Washington, DC office as needed
  • Willing and able to travel 25–30% of the time to support clinic sites across the network
  • Preferred: experience with provider credentialing, payer enrollment, or healthcare compliance at a leadership level
  • Preferred: familiarity with EHR systems, billing workflows, and clinic launch processes
  • Preferred: experience leading multi-site healthcare operations, including people-management or team-building experience
  • Preferred: interest in rural healthcare and building new care delivery models
