About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead qualitative and quantitative analyses and create cohesive storylines and actionable recommendations
  • Identify and develop new growth opportunities by scanning market developments and tracking healthcare and consumer trends, innovation, and potential disruptors
  • Synthesize insights and develop materials supporting senior executive-level decision-making
  • Support business unit leadership process management, including goals tracking and agenda development for executive leadership forums
  • Conduct research and competitive intelligence using internal and external sources
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Strategy team and CVS business partners
  • Partner with Finance and Operations stakeholders to translate strategy into execution
  • Support new growth initiatives and execution of key strategic priorities
  • Work with business stakeholders across CVS Health’s core businesses to address complex cross-functional strategic challenges

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience in a dynamic, fast-moving profession
  • Related experience within management consulting, corporate development, financial analysis, public policy, product development, mergers and acquisitions, or similar roles
  • Expertise in storyboarding and logically framing presentations
  • Ability to facilitate live discussions
  • Demonstrated executive presence, active listening, empathy, and effective communication
  • Ability to simplify complex problems and concepts
  • Comfort working in a matrixed environment and managing competing priorities
  • Ability to manage concurrent projects and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to manage up and influence senior internal and external partners
  • Working knowledge of payor, provider, and product segments of the healthcare and pharmacy industry preferred
  • Growth mindset and commitment to deepening healthcare industry expertise preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to develop analysis, presentations, and supporting material to implement strategy or change management initiatives preferred
  • Experience building and evaluating financial models preferred
  • BA/BS degree required
  • MBA preferred
