About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes for a large business unit
- Analyze monthly financial results and explain variances against forecasts and budgets
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
- Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to improve business performance
- Support long-term financial planning and resource allocation
- Develop and present financial analyses and executive-level presentations
- Monitor key performance metrics and identify risks and opportunities
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices in financial operations
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Help drive the financial performance of Signify Health by partnering with business leaders
- Work closely with Signify Health and CVS Health leaders to improve profitability, efficiency, and business performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 7 years of experience in finance, financial planning and analysis, accounting, reporting, or business planning
- Strong experience with forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and financial modeling
- Advanced financial modeling skills
- Experience creating presentations for executive audiences
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and complex environment
- 5+ years of healthcare finance experience preferred
- Experience managing P&L responsibilities, budgets, and forecasts preferred
- Experience identifying financial risks and opportunities preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial reporting, trends, and projections preferred
- Knowledge of Anaplan or other financial planning systems preferred
- Experience providing ad hoc analysis and recommendations to senior leadership preferred
- Proven track record of process improvement and leveraging technology to drive efficiency preferred
- Strong attention to detail preferred
