About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing AI/ML and GenAI engineering team
  • Set strategic technical direction and advocate for scalable architecture and responsible AI development
  • Partner with business leaders and IT teams to translate requirements into technical roadmaps and solutions
  • Oversee AI initiatives from ideation through production deployment and adoption
  • Design and develop AI/ML and GenAI solutions
  • Champion low-code/no-code platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Automate, alongside full-stack development
  • Establish DevOps, CI/CD, and data governance practices
  • Ensure compliance with architecture, security, privacy, audit, and enterprise governance standards
  • Advise business and IT partners on AI adoption, use-case evaluation, and solutioning
  • Build cross-functional relationships across engineering, business, and governance stakeholders
  • Report program progress, risks, and delivered value to senior leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of people management experience, including building, leading, and developing high-performing engineering teams
  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience in cloud and distributed environments using modern technology stacks
  • Experience building AI/ML solutions, including GPT/Gemini/Claude LLM models, Vertex AI, RAG, GenAI, agentic AI workflows and orchestration
  • Proficiency in Python and full-stack development, including designing and building APIs
  • Experience with Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes
  • Experience with vector databases supporting AI/ML and GenAI solutions
  • Experience with Google Cloud Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI, or AWS Bedrock
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, data analytics, and automation
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience operating within a regulated enterprise environment, including architecture, security, privacy, audit, and governance processes
  • Strong strategic thinking and program management skills
  • Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
