About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage business operations for Aetna's provider network
Facilitate new provider applications
Manage provider inquiries and assistance requests
Maintain current provider data and demographic information
Make accurate decisions on processes and work direction
Identify, evaluate and act on trends impacting market objectives
Handle common and non-standard provider requests and situations
Interact cross-functionally with multiple business areas
Ensure timely completion of work
Achieve production volume and turnaround-time standards defined by department management
Focus on specific aspects of provider application, inquiry, or data integrity processes as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years' experience in Network or related business environment with exposure to provider systems, processes, etc.
Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to balance multiple concurrent priorities
Strong communication, critical thinking, problem resolution and interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of business systems, applications, and tools
Microsoft Office experience
Preferred: Experience working with provider data and internal systems EPDB, PDMS, PRMS, and SCM
Preferred: Strong research skills
Preferred: Ability to manage expectations, multi-task, and maintain strong internal and external relationships
Preferred: Independent thinking and strong analytical skills
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
