About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Formulate pricing strategy and execute financial modeling of comprehensive pricing offers for PBM client contracts
Analyze retail network, mail order, specialty, and pharmaceutical manufacturer rebate pricing
Collaborate with PBM Sales and Account Services on pricing and negotiation strategy
Provide recommendations to achieve revenue and profitability targets for new business growth and margin retention
Apply advanced Excel modeling techniques to analyze large sets of pharmacy claims data
Build forward-looking financial forecasts and profit and loss (P&L) statements
Present financial analyses to Executive Leadership during Executive Underwriting Approval Calls
Respond to financial questions in real time
Support Underwriting Managers and Senior Managers with ad hoc financial analyses and client implementation projects
Execute and implement evolving pricing strategies in response to market dynamics
Support accurate pricing implementation and minimize service warranties and performance guarantee payouts

Requirements

What you’ll need

4 or more years’ financial analysis, pricing, or corporate underwriting experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel in complex data analysis
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or related field; or equivalent work experience
Basic knowledge of PBM finance
Experience managing complex projects over 3-12 months in a matrix environment
Advanced Excel modelling
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and follow up skills
Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to various business groups
Master's Degree listed as a preferred qualification
