Key responsibilities & impact

Participate as part of an Agile Product Team building high-quality, usable products for customers and stakeholders in the Claims organization for the Aetna business
Educate business and technology personnel on the Agile development process
Create products from discovery and framing through iterative development and delivery
Maintain a user-centered and business-priority approach in design perspective and practice
Develop frontend and backend code using industry best practices
Deliver efficient, optimized, user-friendly and reusable code
Plan, deliver and support software applications
Build test automation as part of the software development lifecycle
Adopt AI as part of software development and delivery
Collaborate with product team members and stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of software development experience in enterprise applications
5+ years of experience as a full stack developer in Java-based technologies, including microservices, FAST API, Spring Boot framework and REST
4+ years of experience working with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP and Azure
Ability to develop applications using cloud technologies
3+ years of experience with relational databases such as AWS RDS or AWS Aurora
Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
3+ years of hands-on experience building CI/CD deployment pipelines in GitHub Actions
Ability to develop effective engineering practices and processes with design and development
3+ years of experience in Agile development practices
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (high school diploma plus 4 years of relevant work experience)
Anticipated weekly hours: 40
