Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack solutions supporting Aetna's Medicare business
Leverage AI tools in application development
Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions and feature enhancements
Design, develop, and implement functionality supporting business and operational needs
Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using SQL Server technologies
Write, test, and optimize complex database queries, stored procedures, and scripts
Troubleshoot and resolve database and application-related issues
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, QA testers, and cross-functional teams
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and system performance through monitoring and optimization
Participate in system enhancements, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-5 years of experience with Visual Studio
3-5 years of experience with SQL Server Management Studio
Experience creating and optimizing stored procedures
Experience creating objects, triggers, and functions
Experience building indexes
Ability to write dynamic SQL
Experience creating parameterized stored procedures
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Preferred: 3-5 years of experience with Visual Studio SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
Preferred: SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
Preferred: ability to write variables within SSIS
Preferred: proficiency with GitHub and DevOps
Preferred: 1-3 years of experience with AI developer tools (Copilot), DevOps, Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, MongoDB, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform
